I play SL for almost a year now. And when I started I got the hug drama of any girl on " how to be cute like that one or that one?" I didn't have linden since no credit card, in the mean time I descovert an enterprise called MBL which peopel from portugal can buy linden whitout a credit card. but coming back to my question "how to be a that avatar taht I want to be? Whitout, of course looking to noob."

First of all please get subscrive to DNS. What is DNS? Design Network Subscrition, if I'm not in wrong. Every day you receive clothes, skins, acessories, weapons.. and what hell you need. they are actually cample (not demos!!) of new designers who are showing up on SL. Some of the gifts are crape others are pretty good. That is how I descovert my favorites designers on SL like Zaara or Fishy Strasberry.

Second: Explore the shops! some of thems have auto-subscrition, and provided to the customers nice gift daily. one example I'm remembering right now is She wants revenge, who provide an oufit each week.

Third: Free design shop. There are a few on SL. They are actually freebie of passed collection that the owner doesn't want to sell anymore but give away to newbies. One that is most famouse is Lapointe & bastchild... not sure if I have spell it correctly and right now I don't have the LM's to verify it.

Now you have also Xstreetsl.com where you can find free stuff with huge quality and at the same time you can playing in-world.

As you see you don't need to look a noob just because you don't have lindens.

Now I would love to put here the exact location of the places where you can find really cool and good stuff but I'm out SL right now (addiction hurts)
