since there seems to be a never ending supply of scam websites for every game and an endless supply of posts about them i was thinking maybe there should be a "wall of shame" wehre all these site names and their "products" are posted that players can check to verify they arent buying from a known scammer website

This seems like a great idea, so that instead of making posts is this a scam they could just look and see and make sure they don't buy gold from the wrong place.

or stat changers or private server downloads etc just anything that contains a virus in it or that people have had bad experiances with.

While I think it would maybe be nice to know some of the scamming websites out there I think that MmorpGuides should not get into the site bashing business. If you only use the sites that we recommend or other trusted sites recommend that you should be fine.

my problem with what you said adub, is we already site bash, we just do it very discreetly. if we look back at the posts about stat changers and level hacks, the immediate first post is something like "this is a scam, it doesnt work, or it has a virus/keylogger/instaban". i just figured itd be easier to put them in a big group. not site bashing, more like "user-reviews" like name of site, comment comment comment rating

We're (Adub) Currently Creating Such A System That Won't Be Directly Linked To This Site but Will Be Affiliated.
Once Completed It Will Then Be Populated By Sites With Guides/bots/etc. And Gold Sellers And The Mmo Community Will Be Invited To check Out The Sites, Rate Them And Review Them.

the wall of shame is a good idea but what about somthing like a "hot / not" type list.. like as in haveing the scams in 1 area and then on top of that also having a good / ligit sites in another section
