The Monsters In Act 1

Andariel

The expected final quest in Act 1 is to defeat Andariel, the Maiden Of Anguish. One of the four lesser members of the Seven Great Evils. She has a wide-area, ranged poison attack and fierce melee attack.

Blood Raven

Blood Raven is a unique Rogue priestess with an important role in the begging of Act One .She is extremely fast and can shoot ordinary and fire arrows.

Bone Mage

The only things we know so far for him are that he can cast Ice daggers and that he wears a cloak and some kind of a kilt.

Corrupted Rogue

As far as we know there will be various types of Corrupted Rogues some of them are: "Dark Spear Woman", "Dark Hunter Spear" and "Dark Hunter". Even though it looks like they will be equipped with all sorts of weapons and armor it seems that most of them will have bows.

Disfigured

So far there were noticed two types of this comparatively large creatures: "Disfigured" and "Afflicted" .We noticed, so far that each of them has its own color. The first one is with a green like body and brown mane and the other has brown body with gray on the neck. They have melee and ranged lightning & cold based ranged attacks.

Fallen

There are orange, gold, blue and red colored Fallen, but as it seems the red ones are the most common. They have a fireball attack and the ability to resurrect their dead brethren if a Fallen Shaman is on the scene of the battle.

Foul Crow

At this point we know only that it can fly and it has melee attack. It can be spawned by a creature generator.

Gargantuan Beast

This is a huge monster with a lot of hit points and high melee damage. No information is available will it have a ranged attack or not.

Quill Rat

This a small beast which looks a lot like the Scavenger in Diablo 1 the difference between them is that the Quill Rat uses his quills as arrows.

Razorback

This a ape like monster with long arms whose knuckles drag on the ground, and it has fearful looking row of sharp back spines.

Skeleton

Skeletons go beyond being a simple bag of bones - they carry all types of weapons and armor. Some even use a shield with which can block attacks.

Thorned Hulk

The anatomy and the equipment of this beast is one of the heavily guarded secrets of the game so we know nothing about him.

Zombie

There are three known classes of zombies: "Hungry Dead", "Carcass" and "Ghoul". All of them are slow moving and have only melee attack.

The Monsters In Act II

Claw Viper

It has two types of attack: the primary one is with the tail (which can be poisonous) and the secondary is with the claws but it's much weaker.

Dark Lord

They are specialized in fire based attacks and have been seen to cast Meteor, Fireball and Firewall spells.

Desert Wing

It is a large creature that looks like bat. We don't have information will it have a special attack or not. They have bat like wings, long sharp ending ears and strangely looking legs with very long toes curved upwards.

Dung Warrior

It is a relatively slow moving armored warrior, at this point we don't know will he have any other attack than the melee one. They have a gray-black colored head, claws and a dark red-brown arms and abdomen.

Fallen

The same as in Act I: there are orange, gold, blue and red colored Fallen, but as it seems the red ones are the most common. They have a fireball attack and the ability to resurrect their dead brethren if a Fallen Shaman is on the scene of the battle.

Foul Carrion

They are similar in color and body shape to the Foul Crow except that they can't fly.

Giant Spider

The name of this monster is the only description that we can give. It is expected to have a poison based attack but we don't know will it be ranged or not.

Greater Mummy

They have a short range poison attack and melee attack using the huge talon shaped arms. But the most interesting is the range based magical attack with which they can generate snake-like projectiles that can be poisonous.

Saber Cat

They carry a large helmet that looks like the ones worn by the Roman legionaries. Their favorite weapon is a whip.

Sand Leaper

The only thing we know of them is that they seem to have only a weak melee attack.

Sand Maggot

They have two types of attack: pincer based for close attack and ranged poison spitting.

Skeleton

They are the same as those in Act I.

Zombie

Very slow moving with melee attack but some sub-types have a poison added to it.

The Monsters In Act III

Bleeder

Moderately fast flying creatures.

Doom Ape

Gold colored very slow moving with basic melee attack. In Act I they are known as "Razorbacks".

Gorebelly

We know nothing for this beasts because they haven't been seen in any screenshot or video.

Imp

They are very fast and armed with cleavers and have big heads.

Jungle Urchin

They look like the Quill Rats from Act I but have more hit points and do more damage.

Thorned Hulk

These are the same monsters as in Act I but here they have very strong melee attack but lack dexterity.

Zakarum Zealot

It's expected that they will have a short ranged melee attack cause they're armed with double bladed axe.

Zombie

As you can expect they will be as slow and dumb as in the previous two acts.

The Monsters In Act 4

Pandemonium Fortress
A place of great power and mystery, the Pandemonium Fortress is Heaven’s ancient staging ground for incursions into Hell. Standing as the last bastion of the Light before the Gates of the Burning Hells, this place has been hallowed by the blood of thousands of champions, mortal and Angel alike. Comprised of a small antechamber, a sanctified waypoint and a plateau where trades can be made, it is miraculous that the structure could stand against the corrupting powers of Hell.

While it seems strange that Halbu and Jamella - often called the Merchants of Light - would engage in matters as trivial as the buying and selling of armor and weapons, it makes a certain sense in the scope of how the agents of Heaven are allowed to interact with those of the mortal realm. Like Tyreal, they are forbidden to aid brave adventurers directly, but their buying and selling of items is indirect help at best, allowing them to follow the letter of their Holy Law.
