Transfer your medallions to t2 medallions.
They go from 1 officer medallion to 125 t1 medallions to 25 t2 medallions.
Go to the vendor and buy any pair of t2 guantlets.
This will cost you 10 scout medallions, and then you can sell them to the vendor for 1.2 gold each.
