the protocol here is the protocol L2Walker is using to connect to Lineage 2 Server.
(its apart of the progress a client has to do to connect with the server)

here's how to get the protocol version from Lineage2

1- make a protocol.bat file.
2- put the following line in the .bat file: l2.exe -L2ProtocolVersion
3- save this file in your lineage2\system folder and run it

thats it

no it should appear in a msg box with an ok button...
but if that doesnt work u can alternative do these steps:

1. Open a dos box / Run-> cmd
2. Do some cd.. in order to get to C:\
3. The do a cd <L2 directory> in my case: cd Lineage II
4. Inside the l2 directory do a cd system in my case: C:\Lineage II>_ i write cd system
5. Inside system dir write l2.exe -L2ProtocolVersion in my case C:\Lineage II\system>_ i write l2.exe -L2ProtocolVersion

tada.....
