OK! there are a couple methods of going at this 1. proxies proxies are a great way to bypass blocked sites for example lets say i want to go on runescape but its blocked. I would go on www.ninjacloak.com type in runescape.com in the bar neer the bottom and press enter. the site should come up but it if you look on the search bar on the top of the screen it will say www.ninjacloak... so ur basicly on the proxy site and on runescape at the same time. Here is a site that has tons of great proxies: http://proxy.org/ or http://www.tech-faq.com/proxy.shtml here is a list of proxy sites: twolula.com proxylicious.net icedrinker.com simplein.info proxify.com nocensorship.co.uk proxyeasy.com sslunblock.com accessfast.info tunneldirect.com kproxy.com
2. command prompt (only works on windows computers) go to start>accesories>command prompt or type in cmd type in ping www.website.com for example if i wanted to get to runehq i would type in: ping www.runehq.com press enter and it will give u some numbers for runehq it gives you 74.54.36.20 type that in on the search bar and press enter :)
plz comment if u like this :P im sorry i posted this in the runescape page but i cant find anyware else to put it :( u can use it to get to runescape.com

I don't go to school, but my experience with getting past proxies is this, it all depends on what the computer is registered under and which can be bypassed. Some computers, sadly, actually can auto-block sites that contain certain words like "bypass" and "proxy." They are more of the more obvious terms, but they also automatically block random sites like vkjfgbnt5656.com, and sites that don't follow alongside any of the schools set curriculum for that year. Proxies work, you just have to keep trying to find which is the right one. I suggest when you find the proxy that works for you, continue to only use that one until the system ends up doing a sweep and blocking it. Don't feed it information you don't want it to know.
Also, only do this at school. Yes, libraries have site blockers too, but they are loaded with keyloggers.
I don't know if it should be put into working guides since each computer works differently, and the only thing you need to do is research bypassing sites, but since you already did that I vote yay.

instead of the whole wiki reroute just got to start-->run-->and type cmd
well in my case the school blocked command prompt so me and my friends found out how to go around that thanks to www.wikihow.com yh my school did block alot of proxies but sum stuff doesnt contain the words proxy for example icedrinker.com was not blocked. I also use it to because ppl cant find out wut ur lookin at (it deleted the cookies) also i advise if ur on firefox set history to auto delete. i dont advise internet as u get alot of cookies but u can delete em if u know how to but thats kinda complicated

Goodluck with your guides,
Jacob.
yh there are programs tht will block sites for all diffrent reasons: if any of the contact is not age apropriate example is it maybe has the word "sex" 2. the name of the site. if its some site called bigboobs.com well duh thats gunna get blocked... the trick is if its a proxy site is to have a name like www.mathisfun22.com wich would maybe contain like 2 random pages of math but if u clicked in the right page it would give u the proxy page (those work alot. but some programs can block those to) you could also try messing with the security settings but i dun avise it.

Neither of those work where I live, they've blocked all proxy sites and you can't bring up the cmd AT ALL. And if you can, you don't have administrative access, so you can't edit those settings. I don't know how that'd go with other schools though. We probably shouldn't have this on the site, as this is actually illegal whilst at school.

yh tht happened to me to :( sumtimes u cant do anything about it :( try getting into cmd the tricky way then just do ping www.______.com (its not changing files or anything) btw theres also another option... u can hack into your PC. this is done by restarting it. hold down f8 until a black screen with some options in white will come up. scroll down and click safe mode. then click run. it will open up and show u the users. there will be an extra user called adminastrator. go into that. now from there you can make changes (make your account admin) (this only works on certain PC's.

What if the proxys are blocked, I use a direct ip connection to websites.
First open the command prompt, Go to run, and type in "cmd"
A black screen will appear, type in the following:
"ping www.runescape.com"
You will receive a number like:
"82.211.114.127"
That is the ip (internet protocol) dresses of runescape, by typing that number into your web browser you will be taken to the runescape homepage without a problem.

okay, lol pinging a web address only gives you the i.p. address this method would only work if ure school has a very low tech crappy security/ firewall, most schools are switching to synchron-eyes security, use this website i made it. air-proxy.com
