unless you're 220 with insane healdelta or hot, you can't stay long underwater in adonis wihtout protective gear, and if you're playing a mid level toon, moving with speed debuff is an inconvenience.

this is pretty easy to follow:

----go in adonis, underwater, with protective gear on (not needed for high lvls)
---- open your skills window (U) and check your current runspeed
----hit very fast strafe buttons (W <> C) ; there are no ideal order, just press W & C alternatively (or sometimes something like wcwcwwwcwwwwwcwcwwcwccwcwwww ) very fast and keep an eye on your speed stats in skill window.
---- when you see your speed in green (or at least maxed), stop straffing.
---- you can now run underwater like on surface
---- you can even remove protective gear and equip your back armor, you're not affected by dot anymore!

This does not seem to work as of 05/08/09
