Hi, I am new to WoW, but not the world of MMORPGS.

I have come across a level 36 at the time (now 39) Gnome Warlock that I am DYING to transfer to my battle.net account (which maybe was created 2 weeks ago), I went to the site and set everything up. Found the realm I was on (Elune) and to go about changing it I had selected Elune again as well as entering my battle.net account name as the one I planned on transfering the toon to.

Everything was going well until I pressed continue, it had stated I will be eligible for transfering the toon to the new battle.net account in thirty days. Yes, and entire month.

Has it always been like this? Is there a way to speed the process up? Could it be because my battle.net account isn't a month old itself?

Why is it making me wait an entire month? I'm not stealing the account, my girlfriend plays too and its under her email (battle.net account) so by me playing I am forcing her to disconnect and visa versa. I'd really appreciate any insight into this matter.

the 30 day wait period is most likely due to your new battlenet account.
there is no way the process can be sped up.
