Hey There. I was wandering if anyone knows how too get a trader class off of the ground? I find trader a bit hard. I have a level 22 Jedi helping my trader by buying him things and putting stuff in my house's where my trader can pick things up but i dont understand the class fully and too be honest i dont think that the tutorial really explains fully on how too work trader. If anyone could help me out on the trader class. It would be greatly appriciated. I am on server Bloodfin named Anio Aewiti. Im at mos eisly right now. Anything that can help me get my trader fully fuctunial will be greatly appreciated. Cya! smile.gif

Go to www.swgnro.net and check the links page. There's some great trader info to be found. Good luck!

I found a great way, while ur at the beginning station make sure u stay there till lvl 10 and try to do ALL the quests! All the quests r easy and fast money, u may not get any exp, but need the money. Then buy all the metal u can with ur money. Trust me if u grind for it or buy it, its a lot worse. Do this for all resources and by doing this u r prepared to only need aluminum and ore for harvesters. This is a good way and do this for any resource that stacks and do it for hide, bone, and meat as well. This may take a while, but spend a day on this and u will not regret it. I've lvled very quickly because of this. U may look at this and say 'all the other guides for traders with those macros would lvl me up in like 24 hours!' but keep in mind that they got all the resources before hand :P! Also do the quest for the backpack at the station because u need as much space for all ur resources and items that u make!

the hardest thing about a trader is getting and using credits.NEVER leave your trader for a few weeks.i learned that the hard way.(lost all my money)the best thing to do is make speeders and droids(engineer)any house(structure)armor sets and high damage weapons(munition)and pretty much anything(domestic).but be aware that some things take ALOT of resources(swoops take 10k metal, speeders take almost half as much).Get a mineral extractor of the best kind, unless your domestic because they only need a little metal, and for those domestic people use forage alot, since it gets rare plant componets.as for lvling early, just get grendas quest and you'll be lvl 10 in about a hour(7 spiced teas take a long time don't they?)

My advice would be to grind your jedi to lvl 90 first, keeping all the items and money u get from the missions. After legacy u should have around 3-5mil, and then the next 40 lvls will get u even more money, by lvl 90, if you have around 10mil, great, otherwise get some buffs and grind Night sisters and sell the loot to traders foraround 500k per hour. Once you have 10 mil, buy yourself a trader Grind kit and look off of swg wiki for a macro to grind. Setup what u need to do and follow the intsructions given with the grind kit (if they are not included look on this site or swg wiki for a guide on it) You need to be structures trader btw. This should lvl you in about 2-3 hrs. Set up a few vendors and take all the rare items off of the Jedi and put them on your vendor for a good price, any others sell to a junk dealer, This is so you can have some money to start of a business. Change to what trader you want to be and buy the nescesary Factories and a few extractors of every type with your junk money from before and start them up with rescources you need for what you want to make(factories youll start later). Wait for like 2-7 days and take out all the rescources. If your lucky, some one would have purchased any of the rare items u put on the vendor and youll have some more money. Get the personel crafting station u need(45.00+ recommended) and make factory schematics of what you want to craft, and put them in your factories after placing them with the same type of rescources you used for the schematic itself. Wait another day or two and you should have some items ready to sell to spark off your business.

Hope this helped
