I Have Been Doing 4.2 Years Of Research Determining The Game Statistics To Determine Drop Rates And Drop Mechanics. So Far Ive Tried The Timing Of Killing Enemies, Number Of Enemies, Time Of Day In My Time Zone, So-Called-Cheats. So Far This Seems To Be The Most Astonishing Achievement.

As Most Of you May Or Should Know There Are Three Main Modes In The Game: PvP Mode, Farm Mode, And Mission Mode. These Modes Show The NcSoft And Anet Servers How Long And What Were Doing At Almost Any Time. When You Stay In A Certain Mode Too Long, I Have Figured Out, As An Example, You Do Not Receive Any Faction Say If You've Done Enough Zaishan Elite Missions And Reached Your Cap For 6,000 Balthazar Faction, That Counts As Your In Too Long Or Have Done Enough Of That Certain PvP Mode To Reach your Limit.

I Have Studied These Without Break. To My Amazement You Can Seemingly Renew (Yes Renew) Your (Farm Mode) If Your Getting Unsatisfying Drops. Just Exit Out Of The Mode By Entering Another Mode With The Character Your Farming With And Getting Unwanted Drops With By Entering Any Mission And Passing Or Failing It (Resigning Does Not Work As Often). In yet Another Example Your In The Underworld Farming And Getting No Good Gold Drops (Drops Are Completely Random Unless Solo ) Read The Notes Section As It Explains In Short What I Mean. You Can Just Enter A Different Mode As Explained Above To Simply Renew The Farming Mode. Several People Helped Me Research This And I greatly Appreciate Their Help.

Also Simple Changes Such As Getting New Armor ( Exempt From New Weapons) Such As 1 Obsidian Armor Piece (Which I Have Just Crafted And Waring It Seems To Show Some Change In Drops As I Have Just gotten 2 Lockpicks And 3 tormented Gemstones And An Aegis Of Terror In One Solo Run for Ravenheart Gloom--Yes Im Playing As I Wrote This).
Try This Method As Well but Make Sure Your Going To Get An Expensive Armor Piece...This Theory Is Still In Testing(The Armor One).

I agree with you, from what your saying, there are multiple ways to renew the rate.
Look at my message in the Help Section under the topic "Drop Research". I explain another way to do it, and it works.

ok that sounds all good, but you have forgotten one key point....PRE SEARING. I know alot of you dont think that is a farmable part of the game, but i beg to differ. I have spent many hours in the past 4 years in PRE farming carvings, purple rare drops, and even event items. There is no way to change what you do with your character there. It is FARM FARM FARM.
If you have any data on farming resetting in PRE SEARING i would love to hear it. As far as my personal experience it goes like this.
1. Best Drops right after a Anet Update
2. Bring a low level partner
3. Instead of Boss Runs Only, clear all 54 charr over the wall...:)

The farming code has been known for quite a while. In fact, if you farm a certain spot for x amount of time, it'll give you a pop-up telling you that your drop rate has been reduced.
To get rid of it, just go somewhere else. Do a mission. Go play some pvp. Usually the farming code is gone after an hour or if you just log out, possibly a day.

hmm a pop-up you say.....i have not gotten one of those yet. Can you give me so more details on that ?

First time I've ever heard of a pop up.. I've farmed the raptors for 96 hours straight and never have seen a pop up.
A screen shot would be nice.

Edit: On a side note, while farming raptors, I get more white/black dye to drop in NM than in HM.

To keep mine simple I just call it "flagged" and your characters / accounts do suffer!
It's just obvious that new characters are so "fresh" they have a great drop ratio for greens/golds and all rares.
And if you exit an area to early it "flags"
you exit or don't finish an area over , over, over, over, over again the game is saying "hey whats this guy think he is doing!"
And then, "ok if this guy isn't going to play right, he isn't going to be rewarded as good"
therefore bad drops.
