It seems like I've heard of this game forever yet it isn't out, When was the game announced?

it was announced before burning crusade i believe and was was suppose to come out around that time but due to problems in the first beta it was delayed.....really delayed. after that i stopped following it hereing alot of bad rumors about it but i just pre-ordered it after seeing an e-mail looks pretty promising.

The first beta that your referring to here, was from a different game company, and that whole game got canned by GW, back a few years ago, and then about a year after that They decided to let Mythic have a go at it. so it was really 2 completely different games. the first was going to be a non pvp style game like eq2

i figured something like that happened...but damn just the thought of another eq2.
