Saying Neillife is the best viewer is like saying George Bush was the best president.
Not only does it have no grounds on cryolife, but it's even worse that you're comparing it to a viewer with such a bad reputation, despite it being in every way more effective than Neillife other than being so easily detected.

its a good viewer but the creator is contradicting himself.. hes not breaking the tos?? its ment to be a backup viewer?? why make it so you can copy anyones clothes if its a backup viewer?? why make it import export any object if its a backup viewer? and as for not breaking the tos weres the source code? personally i wud use an alt on viewers like this. it could be logging usernames and passwords for all we know..

ok seems that posts are getting deleted... i didnt mean offence with my last post i was just saying what other people are thinkin... any normal person would take posts and forum comments as advice otherwise why would you even start a thread... there is nothing wrong with my comment, it was just my opinion on the viewer... the client creator should take this as feedback or atleast comment on it if you feel that strong about it or take action n do something about it. at the end of the day im not the only one thinkin this.. im just the one thats telling you it how it is. its ment to be a backup viewer then why have the permissions changed? not wanting to break the tos the source should be released. fair enough on a private viewer theres ways around that. im just saying linden labs fraud team dont go easy on stuff like that, especially when talkin about one thing and doing another. eg "im not breaking the tos" no source code availible.. "its a backup viewer" u can steal of others witch is clearly stated and advertised in the youtube video. just keep an eye on the legal side of things is all im saying....

- Most copybot clients like gemni has prim back up and import.
some have clothing back up so my viewer is ligit to a 3 day post member
thats a older version of the source code..most clients like gemini that has prim backup and import dont go putting out its only a backup viewer.. either way im here to help not to hate.

ok some of these things i agree with the way i see it is anyone meddaling with linden labs code has got to provide the source........it isnt like Neil wrote the code himself LL made 99.999% of it in the first place and to talk about things getting fixed is ludacris ,When everything is fixed and there no more holes all these "Client makers" charging people will Cry..also i dont think its better than cryolife
Cryolife is looked down at by people because they lost 2much money....i think its a joke how people have to pay for open sourced clients in the first place..so i say good on all people making clients free and them who makes clients free adding things like cryocrash just to try and kill it Sad Really

This is like a scary Sci-Fi Convention, you know the ones I'm talking about. The Star Wars and Trekkie fans show up at once, they start arguing and next hing you know there's nerd on nerd action going on the likes of which you'd never see again..
Fact is, Neil provides a TOS to protect his ###### because he knows his viewer will be used to break the TOS. That's acknowledging that he knows what his viewer is. No offense meant there Neil, just an observation!
Cryolife isn't any better, but it doesn't advertise itself as being better either. When and where did we need to start arguing over which alternate viewer is the pwn all of viewers? This is stupidity. Really. Make a low lag client, and I'll vote for that one.
You guys can argue it out, but I personally don't give a damn, and I'm sure that goes for alot of other people on these forums. Got some cool tip or trick for one of the viewers, post it! But if you're just here to argue and propagandize the damn viewer, then please, with all due respect, gtfo. You're not "supporting" your viewer, you're making a drama out of it.

ok, at the risk of sounding like a total noob, why the heck can't I run the neilife viewer on my pc. I have vista, I unzipped to file, but keep getting the error message " this application has failed to start because soft-oal.dll was not found"
huh? can someone please tell me what i am doing wrong?

I'd suggest searching google for "soft-oal.dll", reading up on what it is (logical approach before downloading random .dll files) and then look for a download of it, saving it to the Neil Life folder.
And to Grlnch - YOU may be debating, lol. Don't mind seeing a good debate but when it's just turning into a ###### contest it doesn't really belong in the Cheats Submissions forums, lol.

Hey guys.
I have tested this proxy: http://www.4shared.com/file/143114483/59bb.../MyProxy26.html which I am using basically to back up my stuff (while I slowly move into OpenSim). The good news about it is that it allows you to do much of the stuff using Linden Labs viewer itself, so no worries about being detected or not. Whoever tries to detect you will just see a regular Linden Labs viewer. I will post some more details about it on my blog soon: http://metadventures.blogspot.com/ as I am still testing some of the features.
