Basically, just join any world named "Cows" and you will find that people wont have enough room to carry all of the good or mediocre drops... Pick up the excess and you could easily make about 15000 gold per world and several items of value depending on what you are looking for... great way for exp, but you may want to make sure that it is cleared out, as cows are strong

Depending on the difficulty you are in you can make quite a bit more than this. If you are playing in hell difficulty you can sell items for a maximum of 35k per item. This means that if you clear an entire cow level then you can make somewhere around 400-500k.

I suggest that anyone in need of gold should create a goldfind barb. This is done by stacking massive amounts of goldfind gear on a barbarian and then decking his act 2 mercenary out with high damage gear. You then take the barb to nightmare act 3 travincal. A normal clear of travincal takes 2 minutes and I make about 1.4 million gold. Obviously I use very high end items so a new user shouldn't expect shut outstanding results, but the idea remains the same.

really whats the point on getting gold on that game? all you use it for is potions and portals... you never buy items with gold... its pointless...

I good point of having gold is so you can gamble rare items as rare items have the most potential value in the game. Btw for even better gold make a goldfind barb and do NM trav runs just make him a warcry barb with all extra goldfind gear then the leap over to the Council and use the stun warcry and your merc kills then you use find item on the corpse i make about 1.2 mil in gold and items this way.

Yes, gold i use gold mainly for just gold finding or buying my merc if it dies. potions, and portals. repairing. stuff like that.

Gold is best for gambling rings, amulets, etc. as you may possibly find soj's from gambling, I have done this several of times before. Also well for re-buying mercenaries. If you find a bot's game he may sell rare items the next game which you can re-buy. I got full Immortal king from doing this...

For me the merc's are useless. and potion and scrolls are cheap. And to repair? sell the loot you pickd upp.
