I recently hacked Guild Wars with cheat engine to give my character 9,999 health and 9,999 energy. It works to some extent. Even though i only changed the client data on my computer when i pinged my health and energy it still remained as 9,999 health and energy. They have stopped this hack by increasing damage down to you and increasing cost of spells. If this worked, there most be some holes in the system that i will be able to hack. (if you need proof i can post a picture.)

I Don't Think That's The Best To Look For, They Can Hit 1/5 Places ON You, Can Factor Sundering And Damage Type And Then Strength And Defense Etc. Alot To Find/ Account For, - Armour However, Get A Cheap Set (100g for all five from starting area) Then You Have Armour = 0 ( No Armour) Armour = xx(Chear Armour) And Armour = Higher XX (Max Armour) Least That Should Make It easier.

I'm not sure but i don't think u can use no armor as a value... im testing it as i type so im gona go buy some cheap armor now for mask and try that, but it still seems as though Guild Wars is going through a lot of trouble to annoy hackers doesn't it?

Alright, it didn't work. tried all types of values and i turned up with nothing. Also, editing the maximum damage a weapon does apparently doesn't work either(same concept as armor). unsure.gif

Hmm.. I've Been Thinking About This, Yes We Know Dword Values And Direct Graphic Correlations Can Be Found And Changed But The Rest Seem To Elude Us. I Was Reading Something About Someone Complaining About Stack Size, And In A Reply A Different Person Mentioned That It Would Be Restricted To The Size Of The Data It Was Wrote On..

Now Think For A Moment, Stack Size Is 250, Which Is Very Close (Too Close For A Coincidence) To 255!!! Which Is The Maximum Bit Stack For An 8 Bit Integer. So, With This In Mind I Went Forth And Investigated.

With An 8 Bit Integer Nothing Will Be Straight Values. E,g 500 Health Would In Fact Be 4000 On The Value Amount, And Armour With 15 AL Would Be 120 On Value.. I Tried It,

Im Pretty Much 90% Sure I GOT The Values. But When Ever It Came Down TO Testing Their Limits, GW Crashed On Me.. So, I'd Say Keep This In Mind When Testing, Not Everything Will Br 1-1 Value, Some May Just Be On This Integer At 8-1. Try It out.

guild wars crashing when a value is changed to an amount that is high, such as anything over 9,999 health and things like that. I knew armor and weapons wouldn't work so that is why i never tested it. I also tried bathazar points, didn't owrk but i hvae heard about skill points being changed before, not sure if it works.

i was the one to change the skill points... you cant keep them... they just change back after a second or two... but when i tried freezing them and changing them to higher than normal... gw crashed...

i know, i tried rised it to like 20 and then of course gw ends up crashing. The health thing when freezing doesn't work, but right now i can' think of anything else we could try.

Shouldn't there be a way to stop guild wars from crashing, like hex editing?

You Know Anything About It?? Hex Editing Cannot Do This, In Fact No Amount Of Programming Can Stop A Program From "Crashing".
When A Program "Crashes" It's Because It's Either Used To Much Memory To The Point Theres Not Enough Space To Even Make A Rule For Removal Or Theres A Conflict Within The Rules That Would Send It Into A Loop.
If Someone Knew How To Prevent "Crashes" Then It Would Have Been Implemented To Every Program World Wide.

couldn't you increase the amount of memory that you let guild wars take up on your computer?

No.. On Average GW Will Consume 150MB Physical And Roughly 750MB Of The Paging File. This Might Increase 10% during "Extreme" Circumstances E.G. Heavy Activity Such As HA, But Otherwise It Is Made Just Like Every Other Program And Runs At A Set Amount. The Main Factor That Affects It's Performance Is Graphics. Obviously Though This Will Not Cause A Crash When Changing Value Unless Your Messing With The Key Graphic Files Which - YOU WONT BE!! There Buried In The .Dat File And Don't Even Access The Memory.

Thats Because With Cheat Engine It Only Affects What Is On The Local Machine, So On Your Computer You Were Being Healed But On tHe Server You Were Dieing. The 20 Seconds Or So Is The Time It Takes For The Server To FORCE The Information Through To Your Computer And Make It Realize That Your Dead.

No point in trying server sides, It changes the values*
Now and again I find somebody posting a hack that maxes gold and dupes items, That isn't server side, and I used to have a copy until I Re-Formatted.

*Server sides have no chance on GW, Try flash games, Always works :D
