This is a quick guide containing help to make money as low-level froob in Anarchy online.



What is a froob?
Froobs are people who use the free account offer that allows people to play Anarchy Online Classic (and now, Notum Wars) without having to pay for a monthly fee. As froob, you can't access the areas of shadowlands, and you can't equip items from the expantions, but you can get to level 200, team with payed players and get inside all caves and dungeons in the world of Rubi-Ka. Shades and keepers are shadowlands characters, and can only be played if you have that expantionpack.



Short introduction
In Anarchy Online players are willing to pay alot of money for items that increase a skill or attribute. With better skills and attributes you can equip even better armor, weapon, implants and other good gear for PvP or PvM. Basically, you want the lowest ql that offers the highest possible bonus. The reason you want this is because you don't have to waste any Improvement Points in skills you'll never use. i.e. - if you're an enforcer and need to equip a +treatment rifle, you wanna find the lowest ql. This way you don't dump a good bit of IP into a useless skill for your specific profession.


Clicksaver
Clicksaver helps you getting the item you want. It generates missions until the item you were looking for comes up, and all you have to do is to do the mission and get the item as reward (unless you're using find item). It helps you a lot when you want to get a good money income in a short time.

While looking for items, gather all the Monster Parts you find. You can make Blood Plasma and sell it for a high price at the shops. Anarchy Arcanum has a good guide for it here

If you're really lucky, you can find an Robot Instruction Disk as chest loot. They're used to improve some weapons, and some people are willing to give much money for some more damage. It's not always easy to sell them, so keep posting them every time you log on and whenever you're running through a city etc. You can find a guide here.
- Improve Crushing Weapons - QL 10, 1m to 5m, 3m average
- Improve Thrusting Weapons - QL 20, 2m to 10m, 5m average
- Improve Slashing Weapons - QL 30, 1m to 5m, 3m average

a third item you should look for when doing missions are Notum Fragments, Notum Chips, and Enriched Notum Nuggets. You need to crush the Enriched Notum Nuggets into fragments and chips, and this step require a Sledgehammer with a ql at least 0.5 times the QL of the Nugget though or the process will not work. This requires 3 times the ql in strenght too. You can't use Paper Hammers or Bonehammers for this prosses.
The chips and fragments are selling for 1k per ql, and are used for making CAS Symbiotic Armor and Solar-Powered Pistol for engi (Tradeskill here).
