Just go to Monster Carnival PQ or somewhere else where you know there is many Assassins and spam: B>STEELY 11.1M ILBI 22.2M People think its a good trade and want to sell you. Then you be polite, say Hi and stuff or just ask them how they are doing. Then if its steely dont put in 11.1M do 1.111.111M instead and quickly press trade. With Ilbi do the same thing just put in 2.222.222M many noobs fall for this trick and then you have cheap Ibly and Steely use them of sell in FM. Steely for 3-5M (Depends on server) or Ilbi 6-10M (Depends on server)

I would say that this rarely works...Although you are offering a supposedly high price people might jump on it in the trade, but for the most part I would say that this would not work.

If ppl alert GM it doesn't matter, it gets counted as a false alarm. Nexon olny accept GM alerts if it's for hacking or adverstising. If you don't believe me try pressing alert GM then read the block of text that says: 'do not alert GMs for fame scams or trade scams'.

ya, i found out about that, a while ago, Nexon seems to think(and i agree) that it is your fault fault for falling for the scam, thus you cannot prove that it was a scam. otherwise, you could sell steelys for 1m and say! he said 10m! bann him!

This scam will actually work with alot of people. I've seen someone else doing this in the fm, and i traded just to see how he did it. what he did was put in 25,555,555 mesos ( i had illbis to sell to him ). he'd trade, and cancel right after, and then type that i was too slow
I'd re-trade a couple times, and once i accepted, it was unsuccessful because he had no room. Then he must've used 1 potion taking up a space in his "Use" inventory, and thus creating a slot. He'd then say try again, or 1 more time. This time i knew he wasnt going to put in 25,555,555 mesos. Instead he put in 2,555,555 mesos, and accepted.
theres an example if anyone didn't understand how this scam works.
