Firstly when you start the game its best if you start minig in the ship your
given and keep mining veldspar or scordite (preferably scordite it sells for way
more than veldspar) also dont refine it just as you start off, train some
refinery skills to get a more from the ore.

after you gain about 40k - 50k it is best to buy a bantam there not much money but
for a cheap frigate they are great for mining, due to its large cargo space.

in terms of mining lasers keep going up in terms of price the bigger the price the
better it is

also you will want to train mining skills to increase the yeild on your minig lasers
(trust me its worth it)

after these steps you can choose to paths you can go down the crusier route and use
them for mining and fighting or you can get an industrial ship like the badger
because they have loads of cargo space about 4000 to be exact but put some expaned
cargo hold son there and you can increse it to around 6000 which is more than
enought for mining

at this stage i suggest mining kernite in the amarr empire because there astroid
fields that contain kernite have 0.8 sercurity levels so you shouldnt really get
attacked much, thew only downside to the badger is that you can only have one mining
laser on it which mikes the process very slow but a full cargo hold of kenite will
fetch you over 1 mil

afterwards you wil want to train your skills such as mining,science,asterology,space
ship command and so on, so you can eventually get a mining barge the great thing
about these are they can be fitted with a strip miner meaning they can intake a huge
ammount of ore in a short period of time or ice harvesters where you can get alot of
money from mining ice

after this stage you will want to move on to the hulk which is every miners dream,
see for your self

well after this step if you keep on mining you shold be a multi billionaire and
mabey you could then move onto battleships and fighting but remember the choice is
yours, have fun mining
