War of Emperium (commonly abbreviated "WoE") takes place for two hours on any day of the week (depending on the server). Guilds that have obtained the Seal of Approval skill may attempt to enter and gain control of a series of castles available in-game. On the fourth floor of each castle lies the Emperium; if a guild breaks another guild's Emperium, that guild gains control of the castle.
If a guild can maintain control of a castle until the end of the War of Emperium it will retain control until the next War of Emperium and may gain a variety of benefits for victory, including access to special 'Guild Dungeons' if certain castles are controlled, which give the members of the holding guild a definite advantage in gaining experience and items. During War of Emperium hours, the castle maps are set in PvP mode and behave much the same as the standard PvP maps with a few exceptions, in particular the lack of damage indicators and a large decrease to the effectiveness of magic, skills, and ranged attacks.
There are several differences in WoE than in regular maps and PvP maps.
* All skill based damage with the exception of Gloria Domini and Gravitational Field is reduced by 40%. * All physical (non-skill based) attacks are reduced by 30%. * All long-range attacks are reduced by 25%. This does not stack with long-range skill attacks (these are just reduced by 40%). * Upon entering a new room in a WoE map, the player is given 5 seconds of invulnerability. This invulnerable status is forfeited as soon as they use an item, cast a skill, or move. * All Hunter traps last 4 times as long in WoE. * You cannot ‘lock on’ to players using CTRL+Click. Instead you should click and hold the mouse button. * Pushback is disabled. (ex: The push-back effect of Bowling Bash.) * Phen Card’s ‘immune to spell interruption’ property does not work. However, skills with a cast time that cannot be interrupted will not lose this ability (unless they are Spell Broken). * The Emperium is invulnerable to skill-based damage with the exception of Gravitational Field and Gloria Domini
2.0 Class Specific Strategies
2.1 Professor Strategies
Professors have the natural ability to neutralize the other classes provided you use them properly and win in speed.
Let's elaborate on how we will neutralize the other classes:
Lord Knights Use Wall of Fog and Soul Burn. This will prevent them from using Berserk or any other strong attacks. You should have enough HP to last any normal attack. But you can also immobilize them (Frost Diver, Stone Curse) for your other teammates to be able to neutralize them quickly. Paladins They suck without SP so use Soul Burn. High Wizards The professor is built as an anti-mage. Use Soul Burn on them. If it fails, cast HP Conversion and try to use Soul Exchange. A successful attack is devastating. Professors Going against a professor could prove to be hard. It's a matter of who goes first. The opening spell would likely be Soul Burn. Cross your fingers on who wins the magic battle. Assassin Cross You're not likely to meet a hidden assassin so don't worry. Cast Soul Burn on them and Wall of Fog. They're way easier than Lord Knights.
Stalkers They could be a problem with their perfect hide. Cast a Safety Wall on yourself to be sure. A Wall of Fog would be useful too. Clowns / Gypsies Again, Soul Burn is a must. Cast a Wall of Fog on yourself so they won't be able to hit you easily. Snipers A Wall of Fog would minimize hits from the Sniper. Whatever you do, you cannot come to their range without protection from other team mates or you wall of fog. Once they're preoccupied, cast a Soul Burn on them to force them to use single attacks. High Priests Again, Soul Burn plays it's role. The only threat they pose is their Lex Divina. Before they cast it on you, take them out quickly. Champions The one hit kill wonders can be stopped by your Soul Burn. Nuff said.
2.2 Lord Knight Strategies
Sniper Fighting a good Sniper in PvP is hard. If you pot, he should not be able to kill you in any way. However, they can become hell of an annoyance to you. And if you do not pot, they have the fire power the kill you. The biggest threat they have against you is traps. They have a variety of traps that will screw you over and you have to pay extra attention to the background to figure out where he places his traps. Do NOT simply run towards a sniper to bowling bash. He WILL trap if he’s good. One false move can get you asleep + stuck + sp drained. The best tactic I can suggest would be to use a status spear and spear boomerang. If you’re confident you can one shot him (if he’s a double strafer in pvp) with a bowling bash, charge attack and go for it. However, if not, use a quadruple plankton card pike (sleep status) to spear boom him. It’s a 20% chance. After you sleep him, get to him in any way possible without stepping on his traps, and bash or BB the hell out of them. I would recommend bash with a one handed spear (hydra-skel worker) for the stun effect. In WoE, they won’t be much of a killer threat to you, but the ankle snares in precasts and what not will be annoying. Let the snipers/stalkers do their job of removing traps, and support them until your path is clear. Trap sniper should be one of your targets in WoE to eliminate to facilitate the movement of your guild members. Whitesmith To be honest, this depends on both the gears of the whitesmith you’re fighting, and how many pots he has. If he has decent enough gears, his cart termination WILL hurt (stun shouldn’t be a problem for you especially if you have high vit), and you have to try to out damage him with BB while potting. However, they can break you weapon/armor by simply dealing damage to you. I recommend not facing a whitesmith unless you have Full Chemical Protection, or you’re sure that you can kill the whitesmith before he deals any significant damage to you. Without pots, it’s a “who has higer dps vs hp” thing. Lord Knights certainly have more hp than Whitesmiths, and doing the same DPS as them will make you the winner. One possible strategy against a Whitesmith is using spear stab and spear boomerang. You stab them to prevent cart termination (spear stab gives range) and you spear boomerang them while backing up. If they switch to strong shield, take advantage of the 20% additional damage and BB them like hell. In WoE, if you have full chemical protection, you should be able to face them without much problem. However, target the after high wizards, as they can wreak havoc to your wizard-line with stun. Professor If possible, avoid these. They will dispel you, drain your sp, fiber lock you, and basically become a huge pain in the ######. You should be able to out pot them, but if it is a 1 vs 1 situation, it’ll be hard to kill a properly geared professor who uses their skills right (fog of war, safetywall). Your best chance is to use edge and hope for a coma. In a WoE situation, profs are one of the highest priority targets for every killer class. After you kill the high wizards in the enemy guild and remove any urgent threats to your precast group, edge-BB the profs or move onto another class (sniper/sinx). Paladin An LK vs Paladin battle is a matter of pots. If both classes pot, they cannot kill each other without extreme buffs such as gospel. Do not target these in WoE unless you’ve killed the high wizards, snipers and assassin crosses. Clown/Gypsy A lord knight should not have problems against a clown/gypsy in pvp. The only problem they can cause you is if they are linked. Other wise, you should be able to out damage them and kill them. Another high priority targets in woe, but it may be difficult (not as difficult as killing profs/tanks) to kill them. If after a few BBs they do not die, swap to edge. However, note to stay away from slow grace, as it is the worst debuff (for a lord knight). It will lower your moving speed and attack speed by a significant amount. High Wizard If the high wizard has a very fast cast, use status spears, as used against snipers. However, stun may be more effective in this case. After stunning, dish out damage. They have a very low hp bar, and they will drop dead after BBs, regardless of potting or not. One tip would be to use elemental armors against high wizards, and keep on an ED armor the whole time. The only problem you will have against them is if they JT at a very fast cast speed, or freeze/stone curse you. Swap to your dokebi armor if you see them cast JT on you. Swap back to ED. If they fbolt, swap to ifrit armor. However, if you screw up swapping armors, they will deal an abnormal damage on you, so if you do not know what you’re doing, don’t try it. Also, no armor swapping in WoE even if you’re facing a high wizard. Stay on ED or marc at all times. Champion Use your hide clip to the max, against both TSS and Asura. Use spear stab at first to prevent asura, if they try to TSS, go up to them and BB. Status spear boom should work as well after spear stabbing them out of pneuma. Simply, don’t let them near you, unless you cut their hp down to one shotting them. If they use strong shield, try status spear-booming them, and get ready to use your hide-dodge. In a WoE situation, you should be able to tank their asura at full hp with raydric, feather beret, and thara frog card. High Priest They are like profs, except a bit less annoying. You could try using a force executioner and BB them at maximum speed and hope you out damage the heals. Often times it does. In WoE, do not use a sword guardian weapon or a hydra-skelworker weapon, as they will tank your bowling bashes. Edge is the way to go against high priests. Stalker For PVP, everyone knows how annoying a good stalker can be. They will status you, strip you, then rape you. They will FSK, taking off your precious berserk pot and link. However, you have to remember that you’re a better damage dealer and a better tank overall. The best thing to do against a sneaky little stalker is keep sight up, and follow the footsteps of chasewalk carefully. Use a status spear to boomerang with (preferably sleep or curse). Use magnum to kick them out of chase walk. Becareful of strip, and once you status them, BB the hell out of them. As for woe, they’re not too big of a problem (if you’re in a guild thats any decent, you should have FCP on you 99% of the time you’re woe’ing). However, remember that most guilds have stalker as their recaller. Trying to remember the names of the guild leader stalker, as they should be one of your primary targets in woe. Kill them, stop their recalls, do whatever you can to bother the recaller. WoE Specific Tips Do not just BB the first guy you meet in a battle. Run into their “formation”, target their precast/wizard line first (status or damage, does not matter), and cause chaos to them. Kill of as many high wizards as possible, then change your target to snipers and assassin crosses. If you see your fellow assassin cross attacking a prof, help him out with edge. Learn to use all your weapons accordingly, keep in mind your focus is to wreak havoc and tank. Yes lord knights can get kills as well, but tanking and screwing the enemies up is more important. In a big mob of enemies, if you can tank them, use edge. If not, do not just stand in the middle of the crowd, but move around to minimize damage intake, while still targeting your priorities. If the mob is smaller, use your sword guardian blade. Magnum/BB with status weapon (especially for FE). When walking into precast, use a valk shield, even if you have a horn of buffalo. The elemental reduction will help.
2.3 Assassin Cross Strategies
* Cranial Swapping: This is a very important trick. SinXs are somewhat fragile if they don’t have their valkyrja’s shield equipped, and you don’t want that. So the idea is to keep your cranial valk shield equipped the most time possible. So here’s what you have to do: Put your infiltrator (or double bloody boned elemental katar) in a hotkey, do the same to your valkyrja’s shield and any combat knife you have(Assassin Daggers and Cowardice Sword are good substitutes). Make sure these hotkeys are close to your Sonic Blow hotkey. Put on your weapon and use the sonic blow skill, as soon as you use it, press the valk shield and combat knife hotkeys. If you done it right, your sonic blow animation will show as if you were using the sonic blow bare handed or with a knife.
* Hide when skills are casted at you, this will cause the opponent’s skill to fail, and you’ll take no damage.
* Watch for the the element your opponent is using. If he uses Enchant Poison or a Cursed Water, change your armor to Evil Druid.
* Watch for your opponent element resistances. If you’re doing too little damage on your attacks, you might as well want to try endowing your weapon with a different prop. Few options: Enchant Poison (poison), Endow Scrolls (water/fire/earth/wind), Cursed Water (shadow). Keep in mind Valkyrja’s shields add resistance to: water, fire, shadow and undead. Marcs and Tidals add resistance to water. Evil Druid, Bathory and Argiope add resistance to shadow and poison. Blacksmith/Whitesmith have natural resistance to fire and Crusaders/Paladins to Holy. Best props to endow are, therefore, often Earth and Wind.
* If you’re using SD and you’re dealing little damage to an opponent who might have FLEE, you might be missing. Put on your +HIT weapons.
* If you’re using SD, you can use magnum break (marine sphere card in an accessory will grant you this skill) to push your enemy off pneuma.
2.3.1 Assassin Cross WoE Tips
The basics * Get used to battlemode (/bm). Use it, at least, for gear changing. * ALWAYS bring potions with you. Condensed white potions and royal jellies are recommended. * Always have a few panaceas with you. * Before leaving town, try feeling your inventory to 89% weight, with everything you’ll need (pots, jellies, panaceas, extra armors, extra weapons, etc) * Always have stun arrows with you, they’ll provoke stun on the enemies when you grimtooth them. * EDP is essential in WoE, make sure you have enough Poison Bottles for the whole WoE duration. * Don’t forget you’ll need Assassin Spirit in WoE too. * Make sure you’ll keep your cranial valk equipped for the longest time possible, if you don’t have it on you might as well die faster than you could possibly pot. * Here’s a useful tip. Bring two different kinds of potions, lets say condensed white, royal jelly and alloe leaflet that’s 3 hotkeys for you to spam in order to pot up your HP really fast (:
Attacking * If you are soloing, try sticking around an attacking guild (in cloaking, so they don’t see you) and wait until they invade the enemy’s defense line. Enchant Deadly Poison and sneak through towards the emperium, break it. * If you’re attacking with your guild, try not staying in the front line (unless you’re too hardcore, or unless you’re going to be recalled in case your guild made through but you died) because your guild will need you alive to break the emperium. Enchant Deadly Poison and sneak through towards the emperium as soon as a path is open. Break it. * Okay, you are attacking, but you’re not even close to emperium yet and there are already enemies attacking you and your guild. In this case, you should enchant deadly poison and fight using sonic blow. You can also Grimtooth lines of wizards.
Emperium Breaking * Breaking time with Ice pick on the right hand and 2x Orc skeleton + 2x desert wolf is often around 3~6seconds, using EDP and Cursed Water. * Breaking time with criticals, using the appropriate jur with orc skeleton cards, should be around 10~16seconds, using EDP and Cursed Water. * Breaking with Ice Pick on the right hand and Cranial Valkyrja’s Shield is around 8~16 seconds, using EDP and Cursed Water. * Useful tip is to equip an accessory with Errende Ebecee card when you’re next to the emperium, once the pneuma gets casted, it will block the cast of SWs on the emp.
Defending * Assassin Cross can help on the first defense line using EDP and grimtooth (I recommend curse arrows). * Assassin Cross can help on the last defense line, standing by the emperium and using EDP + Sonic Blow on any enemy who approaches (this is specially recommended for guild leader Assassin Cross) * SinX can move outside the defense line as soon the enemy storms in, in order to kill the more fragile classes, like wizards, who are generaly left behind during invasion. * Soul Destroyer builds can stand in Magic Strings along with the wizards and spam SD on the incoming enemies.
2.4 Star Gladiator Strategies
Star gladiators are great for emperium breaking in WoE. The reason for this varies throughout multiple pro’s and con’s. Regardless of the reason you might decide to make an SG, they are much cheaper than other classes to gear and are effective emp breakers at a much cheaper cost than a SinX.
Pro’s -They can get to the emp alone very easily using skills like Flying side kick and Leap. -With the proper equips, stats and buffs, they can break the emp quite easily. -With 190 ASPD, SW’s break very fast as well -Easier to obtain gear for than trans classes. -Easy to make.
Con’s -Lower HP than trans classes. -Low tanking capabilities compared to trans classes. -Really don’t have any other use in WoE than emp breaking. -Guilds might not take you seriously at first, so getting into a guild to where it matters you can emp break can be hard.
Recommended Gear for Emp Breaking as a Star Gladiator:
-Feather Beret gives you 10% reduction, and is awesome for tanking. +6~7 -Gangster Mask gives you +15% resist to silence, doesn’t hurt to have it. -Angel/Evil Wing Ears give +1 str, possibly the best mid headgear for this. -An unfrozen (marc card) and/or deadly (evil druid card) are the best armors hands down for an SG. +6~7. -A valk shield with thara frog card. +6~7 -Boots with Matyr card or Green Ferus card. +7~9 -Manteau with Noxious Card or Raydric Card. +6~7 -The best combo of cards for your weapon to do the most damage to the emp would be 2x AK 1x Desert Wolf. A cheaper alternative would be 1x Desert Wolf 2x orc skeleton. -Ring Of Muscle (+4 STR) Two of these OR one and Errende Ebecee Card. -Errende Ebecee Card Rings (This gives you the ability to Pneuma of an emp/tank ranged attacks and make sure SW’s don’t continue to come up on the emp. An amazing card for breaking emps.)
The goal of a SG breaking emps isn’t to require your entire guild to be in the emp room with you, but to beable to do it alone or before your guild gets to the emp. Seeing as your party members just have to be on the same map as you, you can get bonus and get to the emp and destroy it before they even get to it.
2.5 Soul Linker Strategies
Soul Linkers are in very high demand during WoE; every guild should have at least two, since links improve all classes in some way and kaupe/kaite can shift the action significantly in favor of your guild.
Links to use in WOE
SinX Link Adds to the amount of damage a sonic blow sinx puts out per hit by +25%. That is a huge difference considering how much damage they are already putting out with EDP. There are also very large amounts of sinx in most guilds, so no soul linker should go to WoE without it because you WILL be asked for it no matter how many other linkers are in your guild.
Rogue Link Increases chase walk speed by an insane amount, making evading other guilds much, much easier than it is without it, and since most guild leaders ecall with a stalker, that is a hugely important part of what you do. It also increases the healing rate of ranked potions, and makes the stalker impossible to dispell, which is also very useful for escaping guilds/precasts.
Bard/Dancer Link Allows both of those classes to move at normal speeds while singing, letting them affect a larger number of people with their songs, whether positive or negative. It also allows their songs to affect them as well; this is a huge help when it comes to a song like bragi. It ALSO lets them use the other class’s songs, which is very important for both bard and gypsy as it gives them new depth and ability. This is one of the most gameplay-altering links in my opinion, and no soul linker should WoE without it.
Wizard Link Lets wizards use skills that require gems without actually using up the gem; they still need one in their inventory, but it will last as long as the link does. More importantly, if they have crystal fragments in their inventory, it will cancel the reflect of enemy soul linker’s kaite, meaning every guild should have at least one linker with this link around their precast.
Soul Linker Link Allows other soul linkers to use ka- skills on things that are not other soul linkers/their RO family. EVERY soul linker should get this in WoE if there is another soul linker in your guild, because without it allied soul linkers are half as useful as they could be with it.
Blacksmith Link An extremely powerful buff for both the blacksmith and any melee characters in his or her party. At least one linker in the guild should have this link at a high level.
Knight Link Is often passed over for other links since it only buffs the Knight, and there are usually a relatively small number of knights in any given guild; still, it allows a knight to use a shield while still benefiting from the Quicken skill, increasing attack speed (and therefore DPS or chance of a status weapon activating).
Alchemist Link Can be helpful and allow creators to heal others for substantially higher amounts with potion pitcher; however, most creators will spend most of their time spamming Acid Demonstration, and most good players will be able to heal themselves with items, so I would only get this link at a high level if all the other links are covered by at least one linker in your guild.
The hunter, priest, monk, sage, supernovice, and trans links are all useless in WoE. Not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings, but if you’re one of those classes and you think you need one of these links for WoE, rethink what class you’re going to WoE with.
Also, as long as you yourself are linked, you should attempt to keep everyone in your guild kaupe’d and kaite’d. You will probably not be able to do so, but try. ALWAYS kaite everyone before entering an opposing precast in WoE. If you see a wizard casting an AoE spell on your guild members, kaite as many as you can as fast as you can. If you see a champ running towards someone, they are going to asura. Kaupe as fast as you can. If you see someone being sonic blow’d, help them out with kaupe. When attacking, you will always have something to do. When defending, just make sure everyone is linked, and kaupe/kaite the wizards. If there is a CP up, keep them kaupe’d. Do this and you will be good. If you don’t do it, you will most likely be complained at, and your guild will most likely suffer more than if you had done your job.
If your guild has other soul linkers that have necessary links, you can include other skills in your build, such as eske; you can use eske on guardians to greatly increase their attack power, making them more than the minor annoyance they are to most players.
2.6 Gunslinger Strategies
Gunslinger isn’t a solo pvp class, in a party with the presence of a High Priest, a professor and a stringer, you can truly destroy a lot of classes. That’s really a no brainer, anyone can figure it out. So I’ll give some info on dealing with some classes in a duel type fashion(like that actually ever happens in the pvp room, but anyways this is all 1 vs 1 advice). Take it with a grain of salt, QuietJack is the actual pvp specialist but anyways.
Lord Knight LKs aren’t exactly a threat if you’re going against one without an entire guild backing him up. In practice you’ll face 3 probable openings from them: -Spear boomerang -Him rushing towards you to Bowling Bash -Him in frenzy.
It’s also fairly popular to try to spiral pierce, but those are easily hidden out of with a decent reaction time on your side. To deal with spear boomerang, you’ll need to have basic instinct on alligator gloves switching and Cranial switching too. Cranial switch immediately after a rapid shower or 2, you’ll have to know the cooldown of his spear boomerang.
If he gets close to BB, switch to shotgun and use dust followed by a rain of rapid showers, with Cranial switching at discretion.
If its a clean duel, you’ll more than likely get him dropped in a Royal Jelly spam competition. Whoever runs out of them first is the winner.
If you have disarm this is a free fight for a GS, just get up close and infernal Desperado him. With a proper build you should be able to take LK hits just fine.
Deal with Bowling Bash LK in the same fashion as the one above. You’ll probably have to spam a few aloes/RJs. A frenzy LK can be easy or a bit harder. depends on your skill tree, if you disarm him its game over for him. If you don’t have disarm you’ll probably have to pot a bit, but he’ll eat mad damage from desperado, and if you’re properly geared, his attacks won’t really have a high DPS. You can always hide right before he gets close enough to you as well. Remember, against frenzy lk’s their battle is against you and the clock. If you have any status effects you can throw at them, this is the time to do it. Poison them, then freeze them and wait for their hp to dwindle down. If not, just stick to the strategy of staying hidden and keeping them at bay with dust.
High Wizard This situation is pretty easy in a 1 vs 1. Stack some basic mdef, combined with your basic reduction gears (alligators, Noxious, feather beret, cranial switching) and his magic won’t even scratch. It can get a little tricky if they have cast-interruption prevention, which they should. (Naturally, if they didn’t you could practically poke them to death with low-dps normal hits, but any hw worth dueling won’t be vulnerable to that.) Hit them first. Hit them fast. That should be the key rule in any battle against any class, but it can’t be stressed enough here. If you can exploit status, any status at all, it’s always important to do so. You should assume that a decent hw has silence immunity as well as freeze, thus you should go straight for cursing and stunning. Curse won’t completely debilitate them, but it should keep them disabled just enough to give you time to keep your distance or run in for the kill with desperado. At this point it’s all about how you personally duel, and this guide has no impact on that.
Sniper Snipers can be annoying if you don’t master cranial switch, but they’re not impossible to kill, even High HP whores. If you’re in a pvp skillset build, disarm can really destroy them, doing this isn’t near as unpractical as it sounds if you have the ranged reduction gear to tank enough of their doublestrafe spamming.
I usually disarm snipers in 3-5 attempts, again with decent pvp gears you can take their damage just fine. FA snipers are even easier to deal with due to the fact that FA will have a low DPS on a properly geared GS. The average sniper vs gs duel usually goes like this: GS spams rapid shower and sniper spams double strafe. Sniper wins. Don’t fall into this pattern, it’s predictable and shows no skill or finesse. Gauge the speed at which they’re doublestrafing. Unless they have specialized cooldown reduction gear then you can gauge whether they’ve more vit or more agi. Based on what you gather, know when to switch from rapidshower spam to full buster if you absolutely have to get stuck in that pattern. (Similar to how a sniper would ds spam and finish with fa) These battles are usually quick, and even with a decently skilled player, it frequently ends with both the sniper and the gunslinger dead.
Whitesmith This class can be a pain to fight against in pvp, but it all depends. on what exactly the WS is carrying to pvp with(Aloes, Mastela/RJs, Speed pots, etc).
A disarm can still make their Cart Termination not so fearsome. Leave desperado for last.
Due to its uneven damage output, chances are you might not land all the required hits to keep a nice DPS against him.
Dust->RS combos work.
A Combat Knife user can still tank an infernal desp pretty well, so be careful, this is a hard matchup in pvp imo. It’s best to avoid this type of battle, though it’s completely possible. Just make sure you keep the damage on heavy. A sleep status or curse status weapon would be best. If it’s a decent WS don’t even bother with stun, freeze, or silence. Any status that can be cured with a pot will be a waste of time. This is also a battle of stalling. Keep them far away from you and only go in for the kill with desperado, as said, as a last resort, or if you’ve managed to incapacitate them with sleep. Keep the pressure on them, even as you’re retreating. Make sure to keep the max distance with them as long as you can maintain it.
Assassin Cross EDP’d SinX means you die if you can’t disarm them. (And let’s face it, you don’t just see sinx waltzing up to you uncloaked with edp and sl saying “let’s have a fair fight ?”)
You’ll need Horong accessory for this match. If you can’t afford that, then you’re stuck relying on raw instinct to figure out where they’re going to come from out of cloak. It’s not too hard with your average sinx to be honest, most of them will invariably try to sonicblow you straight out of cloak. Even if they try to grimtooth you, that’s no big worry. Just tank it until you can walk out of their range, and pin them down with rapidshower as they unhide to get closer to you.
Desperado knocks them out of cloak but don’t rely on it unless they turn out to be the aforementioned predictable sinx. Don’t try to tank SBs, Dust>RS harassment once they pop out.
Have your cranial on, 90% of the time.
You might have to pot if your reflexes are slow. But realistically, against the average lro sinx, if your reflexes are slow you’ll get edp’d in the face. Better luck next time.
High Priest Fighting a godly geared HP is hard. Fighting your average PvP priest is annoying but not impossible. It’s pretty funny sometimes too. They never seem to get the idea to safety wall desperado, and if they get stuck in the middle of it, getting out is difficult. Laugh as you pin them down with a predictable strategy and end up killing them. If you have a magnum break clip then you can knock them out of safety wall, since you have a ranged weapon equipped it counts as a ranged attack. One they’re out, rub it in their nose by desperadoing them from within their own safety wall for extra laughs. Any status you can lay down on them is worth investing in, anything to keep them from having a chance to out-heal your desperado.
Clown/Gypsy Disarm will render your typical Arrow Vulcan Clown useless.
Again cranial switching will be your best tool.
Tarot might be troublesome but it relies on chance so its not all that bad.
As far as Gypsy goes, the worst thing they’ll probably try to do is stun you after you take their weapon off. What then, a few more chances for tarot? Maybe they inflict confusion on you? Nothing to worry about. If you can’t disarm them though, then you’ll have to rely on hiding out of their AV (unless they have neigh-instant cast, which a *good* clown/gypsy should) Clowns and gypsies are rarely prepared to handle silence from my experience. It’s also fun to hide, and stay hidden until they come up to unhide you with improve concentration, then unleashing desperado hell.
Creator No real tactic, You can kill average vanils running around pvp but AD will definitely rape you. If you can disarm them and they don’t have instant cast then you may stand a fighting chance, but even after that, they can always ress their homunculous, and let’s face it, when it comes down to it, they can carry more pots than you can, and have more firepower in their arsenal, not to mention a much higher def. capability.
Stalker 50/50 chance to get stripped or to kill them while try’re trying to strip. Fairly easy matchup. If they go for a straight up doublestrafe spam match, take them on, you can waste them with Rapidshower rather easily. The worst thing that can happen is they flee a few. If their flee is getting pesky you can always invest in a mummy card or two, just to keep laying the hits on them. Keep them at a distance, just for the purpose of frustrating them. It’s true that you have a decent chance to beat them with desperado before they divest you, but the more damage you chip off them before they close in on you, the greater your chance of ‘sealing the deal’ if they do get right up next to you. If they take your gun off, it’s over. You may as well sit down and spam /sob and hope they take pity on you. …But they probably won’t.
Professor Pretty hard to kill a professor in 1 vs 1. They have a lot of stuff to counter whatever you try to pull. It all pretty much comes down to who has the better gear.
Champion Champs are always a fun fight. If they’re not trying to go straight for asura (not offering a strategy for that, if you don’t know how to deal with that then you shouldn’t be reading) then they’ll constantly be hiding in their own pneuma. If they try to throw spirit sphere at you, either hide out of it or walk right into their pneuma with them and give them a nice desperado hug, then dust them away and keep the pressure on. Any ranged class is all about keeping them at a distance and keeping the pressure on, even if your best skill is technically close range. That’s always an easy kill, since most don’t seem to understand that desperado is a close range skill. The worst thing they can do if you go to duck into their pneuma is a raging push palm strike, and that’s keeping you at distance anyway, so that’s your prerogative. They may try to make a combo of it with a quick-cast tss so make sure you time your hide perfectly after the push palm to avoid a 2-hit combo, rather than going immediately for a hit after the push palm.
Ninja A good ninja will require some thinking. An average ninja will be dead meat in 3 seconds.
Bull’s eyes is your best friend in order to kill a ninja, as it bypasses Cicada Skinshed. Triple action will pierce it as well. If, for some reason, you do have agi, just pin them down with normal hits using status guns. Keep them pinned against a corner until you can time a skill like fullbuster or rapid shower between their rebuffing.
A horong clip is very useful.
This matchup is heavily based on the GS player’s reflexes.
Paladin This matchup is HARD but not completely impossible. the result will basically depend on who has better gears, you will probably have to pot, since he will probably pot.
Against Martyr’s Reckoning (MR) paladins, be at full defense mode until he’s used up the 5 hits, switch from your cranial valk to start desperado. When he’s able to MR again switch back to cranial. If you do pot this encounter is rather simple and gear based.
A linked Paladin is much more annoying but easier to tank, especially if you have Adjustment(A.K.A GS panic) the only drawback is that in 1 vs 1 it is harder to stay close to 1 and Desperado the him to death.
A nice disarm can really screw them up.
Do not use silver bullets against paladins. Bloody if you have the zeny to spare, otherwise stick to regular bullets. Status is your best friend in a battle against a paladin. Even just a single curse will be good. Keep them moving slow, throw on anything, and I mean anything that you can. Put them to sleep, stun them for 1/10th a second, poison them. Anything you can do to gain the upper hand against a paladin, do it. Hide anything with a cast time can be hidden, anything instacast, you’d better be ready to tank. Desperado will be your biggest damage dealing attack due to defending aura, and even that, on a decent-geared pally will only do between 500-700 damage per hit. Not to mention getting close to them is risky. If you can chew up a paladin, then congratulations, you don’t need to be reading this guide anymore.
2.7 Creator Strategies
Lord Knight Keep your distance from them. Spam AD from afar as they will most likely have high VIT. Watch out for Charge Attack though, it brings them close to you instantly. If you have low VIT and a LK starts spamming Bash close range, you will most likely wind up dead. The same thing goes for Spiral Pierce, except its possible to run away again and continue spamming AD. Watch out for Berserk! If they do that, I usually use an Authoritative Badge to increase my walking speed so I can keep away. If you can start far, you will most likely win.
Paladin Same strategy as LKs, except they dont have Charge Attack or Berserk so it is kinda easier. Watch out for Gloria Domini, it eats your SP. And stay away from Matyr Reckoning Paladins, and spam AD from afar. Remember, if your damage is too low, they have Heal and it could become a long fight.
High Wizard If you have a Smokie Card, it can be an easy fight. As long as you got a Marc card, they cannot freeze you. With decent demi human resistance andenough HP and INT, their weaker spells will not hurt at all. Hide as often as you can if they target spells directly at you as well as when they use AoE spells. If they have low VIT, you will have to get near and spam Mammonite (assuming you have STR in your build). If they have high VIT, AD them to death!
Professor This can become a long fight and it can also be finished very soon. Watch out for their Soul Siphon. It can eat away all your SP and leave you stuck without SP for skills. Of course, if you have SP pots, it isn’t a problem. If you don’t, you are a sitting duck until your SP recovers. The good news is, with your high INT, it will take a Professor a decent amount of time to kill you. Watch out for their Stone Curse as well as their Fiber Lock as they can make you helpless. If you wind up with no SP, always remember, you still have your homunculus too!
Sniper This really depends on the build of the Sniper. If the Sniper has VIT, it can become at least doable. Send your homunculus after him, try to status him and then AD him to death. If he tries Falcon Assault, don’t worry, he cant do THAT much damage anyway. If he has no VIT, it can become a difficult fight. If this is the case, you will have to rely on your homunculus a lot more. Try to get near and start spamming Mammonite if you have decent STR in your build. Try to use a quadruple stunning weapon if the Sniper has low VIT instead of your standard PvP weapon.
Clown/Gypsy Similar to a Sniper, except it is usually much easier. Most Clows and Gypsys get VIT, so you can AD without worries. Their Arrow Vulcan shouldn’t do that much damage that makes it life threatening. Send your homunculus after them and spam AD and you should do fine.
Assassin Cross If they are a Soul Breaker build, this should be easy, just spam AD during the Breaker delay time. If they are Sonic Blow build however, you will need to watch your step, especially if they use EDP. Stay as far as possible, send your homunculus after them. Avoid getting too close at any cost. 1 EDP + Sonic Blow could very well 1 hit KO you if you don’t have sufficient DEF. Immediately when they get uncloaked, start spamming AD but be reasonable, use other skills too. Bio Cannibalize slows them down sometimes. If they start Grimtooth, either Hide immediately or Sight them and AD them.
Stalker If you have Full Chemical Protection, it really takes out half their arsenal. They can’t Divest so, they will have to rely on doing their damage with your equipment. Don’t get complacent though, they can still dish out a good deal of damage. The damage rules of fighting an Assassin Cross apply, except if they have no VIT, you will have to rely on your homunculus and spam Mammonite.
High Priest This can become a really long fight. They have Pneuma which can render AD useless. They can also heal insane amounts and have Safety Wall to ward off Homunculus attacks. My advice is first, if you come up against a High Priest, AD them immediately if they are not standing in a Pneuma. If they are, go close and Cart Revolution them out by knocking them out of the Pneuma. Then AD again. Hopefully they wont be able to recast Pneuma that fast. Don’t waste time when fighting, the more time you waste, the more time you give the High Priest for Healing himself/herself. The only good thing is, the High Priest cannot do much damage to you, due to your high INT.
Champion This can also be a difficult fight. They have Pneuma which can negate AD. Also, you have to be careful when going near them since they can unleash Asura on you. A Smokie card really helps in this situation. If their Asura cast is a bit high, you can usually hide and avoid it, thus removing all their SP. But watch out for Ruwach, many Champions use Ruwach and then charge for Asura, thus not letting you utilize hide. The same strategy applies here too, use Cart Revolution and push them out, then AD. Also, setting your homunculus to bug them will help you too.
Whitesmith This can be a rather fast paced fight. At all costs, don’t go near him/her, always stay away. CT can ruin the fight for you by stunning. Stay far back, use a Badge if necessary to help you outrun them and spam AD as you go. Use your homunculus to slow them down. If he/she gets near, you are most likely dead unless you have high stun resistance. If they try using Meltdown, use Chemical Protection to protect your equips from breakage.
Creator This is dependent on both your builds. Whoever has higher VIT and whoever has lower cast time of AD. Most likely, the VIT factor is decides the outcome of the fight. Of course, who has the stronger homunculus can also matter in the fight. Use your homunculus to its fullest extent in this fight, as long as its a strong one.
Gunslinger Similar to a Sniper, except it will not be so hard. Expect Rapid Shower to be spammed. Just AD them if they have VIT, if not, you will need Mammonite and your homunculus. Watch out for Desperado too!
2.7.1 Creator WoE Tips
Offensive Strategies When guilds go on the offensive, they are attacking a castle that is already owned by another guild. Their aim is to break the Emperium, a golden rock situated in the heart of the castle, guarded vigilantly by most of the guild members of the opposing guild. So, what does a Creator do in this situation?
First of all, don’t waste your time in attacking the emperium directly. You probably will not do much damage to it anyway. Use the best Chemical Protections you have on your guild’s specialist emperium breakers. If you see someone with critical health, Potion Pitcher them immediately.
On your own, assuming you are an AD Creator, spam Acid Demonstration on the most dangerous class you see, which has high VIT, like another Creator for example. Basically, target Assassin Crosses, Whitesmiths, Lord Knights, Paladins, Creators and Champions. But be wary of Pneuma, don’t spam Acid Demonstration like an idiot without noticing that you aren’t doing any damage thanks to Pneuma. Let your homunculus run wild on the low VIT but dangerous targets like a High Wizard in the pre-cast or Snipers. If the High Wizards in the pre-cast have VIT however, target them first and end the pre-cast.
If you are a Melee Creator with loads of VIT, enter the Emperium room first and pot like crazy to take the damage of the pre-cast. Then let the rest of the guild enter. In this case, your job would be to take out the less DEF/less VIT targets like High Wizards and Snipers. Do so by going closer and spamming Mammonite but be sure to keep potting since both the fore-mentioned classes have strong ranged attacks.
Once you have somewhat overrun the castle (that is, your guild has more strong members in the final room) protect the Emperium breakers while they start breaking the emperium by casting Sight (if you have a Horong card) and basically killing any enemies before they have a chance of attacking the emperium breaker.
Defensive Strategies When guilds defend, they repel attacks on the castle they own for the moment. Here is where the usefulness of Creators really come into play!
If you are an AD Creator, stand in range of the entrance of the last room, ready to Acid Demonstration the living daylights of any intruder. Do not stand alone, because if the invader has lowish VIT, you would simply waste your bottles since they can easily out-pot the damage you deal out. High VIT characters and some medium VIT characters will fear Acid Demonstration on sight since you can very easily take them out. If an enemy guild manages to enter the last room, don’t panic. Keep your distance, constantly using Acid Demonstration on the characters which usually have high VIT. Let your homunculus attack the group but choose its target carefully. Try to pick something which you cannot kill using Acid Demonstration, in other words, a usual low VIT character.
If you are a Melee Creator, do not try to own people with your damage, since you cannot really do that. Use status weapons and stand in the entrance, ready with Cart Revolution or Magnum Break preferably (if you own a Marine Sphere card) and try to status any person who tries to enter the last room and thus make it easier to kill him/her. Useful statuses are stun, sleep, curse and freeze. I like to pick stun however.
Both varieties of Creators can help in different ways. Keep Chemical Protections up on the critical damage dealers/tankers as well as on yourself. Use Slim Potion Pitcher when many people need a heal. Bio Cannibalize can also be used at the entrance to the last room to slow people down when entering. Sphere Mines also work well if there’s a group huddled up nearby. Demonstration also is useful as a pre cast to break the opponents weapons before they can try breaking the emperium. Acid Terror can mainly be used on people with god-like armor (example, Ghostring carded ) to break it.
2.8 Whitesmith Strategies
I’ll now give a quick run down on how to deal with each class in pvp. I must admit though, WS can be jipped pretty easily in pvp without the right equipment.
Sniper If they’re in DS build, you should be able to win the fight. You can try simply tanking the ds untill you get close enough to CT or if you keep getting arrow repelled, slap on a Strong shield to stop their arrow repel from effecting you and tank the ds till you get close enough to CT. If they manage to ankle snare you, hide and keep hiding straight away after they detect until the snare runs out. If they are a pure FA build the fight is probably a bit harder since breaking their wep wont make much difference and they most likely have more vit. Pretty much same tactics as before.
Clown If they’re not linked and you have a marc card, it shouldn’t be a very hard battle. While they’re using AV, walk up to them and CT them. If your unable to get close to them, hide and wait for them to come close to use IC or sight. Now they should be close enough for you to CT. If you they link it will make your job much harder since they can bragi themselves to spam AV/Tarot faster (coma card hurts). Also, they are able to use slow grace to completely screw over your aspd.
Gypsy Same tactics as vsing Clown except gypsys can stun you with scream. Don’t worry to much since your high vit will give you high resistance to it.
Lord Knight Can be a tough battle since both classes can deal good dmg but a LK has much more HP and will be fairly resistant to stun. If they are a BB build, just straight out CT. If they switch to a spear and use the spear stab spear boom combo, try using a Strong shield to stop the knockback. Watchout though because you’ll be taking an extra 20% damage from their BB which can really hurt. If they’re spiral build, try hide dodging it then CT. Watch out for the spear stab combo once again. Good luck
Paladin Probably something you want to avoid. If they’re using matyrs reckoning, in most cases you won’t be able to out damage them (unless they have really poor equips). If they’re SC build your chances of winning are probably high, but still, these guys are tanks.
Professor STAY AWAY!! These guys are your worst nightmare. Dispel gets rid of all the many buffs WS has to offer which leaves you pretty much useless until you rebuff. Soul burn is a real pain if you don’t wanna use pots. There isn’t much you can do to profs since they can just sit in their safety wall and tank your CT. Anyways, if they’re bolter prof, use hide to dodge it and switch ele armors depending on what bolts they are using. Once you switch to ele armor watchout for stone curse and frost diver.
High Wizard Can be an annoying fight. Quagmire lowers your aspd a fair bit (can’t remember if it cancels cart boost and they will probably try to keep you away with sight blaster. You can try using strong shield so you can stay close to them but be cautious about the extra damage you’ll be dealt. If they decide to stay in a safety wall, keep CTing them because the stun effect still goes through. Hopefully they shouldn’t have a great deal of vit so you should b able to keep the stun up before they can recast another SW and kill them. Chances are their cast will be quite fast but still try to hide dodge if you have good reflexes.
High Priest Another fight you want to avoid. There isn’t much you can do if they keep using decrease agi and stay in a SW. They shouldn’t be a big threat to you anyways so you prolly won’t need to kill them very often.
Champion Sometimes a tough fight if the champ knows what to do. If there TSS cast isn’t very fast, simply walk up to them while they’re casting and CT them to death. If it is fast, they will most likely dec agi then TSS then snap away before you can get close and repeat. If so, hide n hopefully they will get close to ruwach you out. Pop out of hide and CT away. If they try to go for the straight out asura, either try to hide dodge or get a quick CT in during the cast and hope for stun. If your fully equipped with CK, F beret, thara, raydric and assumptio, every now and again you might be able to tank it with a very small amount of hp left.
Assassin Cross If the sinx is using SBK build your chances are slim since you rely on getting close to deal damage. While the sinx can simply keep his distance and escape with cloak. If your lucky you can get to him before SBK delay is over and CT him once or twice and hope for stun to kick in. If they are SB build your chances are higher. Use sight and tank the first SB and start spamming CT before he can recloak. If you’re quick, you can get a CT in before he manages to switch to Thara/CK. If he stuns keep killing him. If he manages to recloak, use sight and run around trying to uncloak him or just wait for him to come back and SB you again. You should be able to tank 3+ SB’s anyway so it shouldn’t be much of a problem.
Stalker Not incredibly hard to beat if you don’t get stripped. If they’re DS build, they shouldn’t be able to deal much damage while you’re geared. Just try to get close enugh for CT. But if you get near them they’ll most likely chase walk away. This is where a magnum break accessory can come in handy to knock them out. If they go in straight for the strip, CT the hell outa them. Since they are DS build they will probably have low vit so they’ll stun easily. Wear ED if they’re trying to strip you by using stone curse with seeker card or freeze with marina card bow. But if they manage do to strip you, well there’s not much you can do but go down fighting. Also carry some RJ for curing other status ailments. If they’re BB build, use pretty much the same tactics. But take care though, BB is deadlier then DS.
Creator Another fight you want to avoid. Because of your high vit you’ll take pretty insane damage from AD, plus the additional damage being dealt from his homun at the same time. Not much you can do against a creator. Even if you manage to stun lock him, his homun will still be dealing pretty decent damage if it has nice stats. If you’re going to kill a creator, kill him fast because if he gets away he’ll just potion pitch back lost hp.
Whitesmith Basically whoever has the better equips, higher str and higher vit will win. Simply spam CT and hope for the best, not much else you can really do. Good luck
Super Novice Kinda like a vsing a HW, except they usually have close to instant or instant cast. Surprisingly, SN can be a pain to kill because of their large array of skills. Most likely they will dec agi you, run a bit then bolt you and repeat. Hard to get close to but once you do, they go down pretty fast.
Gunslinger Gunslingers don’t have any skills to repel you so just tank their hits till you get close then CT away. Beware of Desperado, it’s a pretty insane killing machine.
Star Gladiator Not a very common class in pvp. If they’re using heat to suck your sp you’ll need some sp recovery items. Pretty much just CT them to death. Don’t forget to bring another weapon other then CK since your link will be gone after he FSK’s you.
Ninja Just get close and the fight should be over since CT ignores their evasion skill (cant remember its name xD) Sight if they hide. You shouldnt need to worry about their issen i think its called, the asura like skill anyways since you should be able to tank it.
2.9 Stalker Strategies
Lord Knight Two possibilities, a Spiral’er or a Bowling Basher (Maybe others but I can’t think of any other). Firstly, for Spiral vs Stalker, you must be able to have a fast reflex to dodge their Spiral by using your skill ‘Hide’, but even so if you successfully pull that off, after you come out you will be spiral’d again, so, it is best to equip your thara shield, BUT, you are still able to try and freeze them but you can only shoot ONCE before hiding again (or you will be spiral’d), good luck. Personally, all I can think of is going in for the strip (Feel free to comment on this). If you are VS’ing a bowling basher, prepare to use your Backslide skill and equip your Status bow (Most likely to be a Marina carded one). Backslide, shoot once, backslide, shoot once until they get frozen, If they don’t seem to get frozen, obviously they’re wearing Marc/ED (Most of the times). In this case, good luck, I can’t think of anything else. Go in for the strip.
Paladin Two possibilities, a Shield Chain’er or a Matyr Reckoning (Sacraficial Ritual) paladin. If you are up against a Paladin itself, don’t bother Double Strafing (if you are a DS’er) unless the Paladin fails. Same as the Spiral Lord Knight tactic, try to hit them once at least before hiding from the shield chain. If it fails, I guess its Full Strip time again. Reject Sword is your best friend VS’ing a Matyr Reckoning paladin, it halves the damage, pretty good. Since they are melee like a bowling basher, you should be able to backslide away from them while trying to status them. If not, put your shield on, reject sword, and go for the Strip.
High Priest Basic PVP. If he has Marc/ED (Which he probably will have). Just strip and hope your Bowling bash can kill them. Double strafers are utterly hopeless against priests. If you are a bowling basher build, with the Vit you have you won’t be silenced quite often, so go in for the strip and bowling bash as fast as you can, meaning click a tile next to you to successfully pull off the bowling bash spam.
Creator If they are going to Acid Demonstration you, I got no idea, have fun repairing your items. Nothing to say here.
Champion If you are VS’ing a cheap champion, he will asura however you can dodge it of course. If he is a decent champion, he will try and kill you by using occult, PPS (Push palm strike) and TSS (Throw spirit sphere). You must have good reflexes because they lose their spheres after trying to hit you with TSS. PPS will always hit you even if you do hide after they use it on you. You are able to use the hit and hide tactic, good luck, though I have never did it myself. In my point of view, I would just go in and try to Bowling bash him as fast as you can. DS’ers, no chance.
Assassin Cross Three possibilities, Soul breaker, sonic blower or hybrid. Obviously, I would rather not try and use the hit and hide technique on this class, you get hit once without wearing your shield, most likely your hp will be halved by SBK, if they sonic blow you, most likely you will die (Due to some SinX’s using soul link and EDP). If they are SBK type, you can try and DS’ing them as fast as possible or BB’ing them. There is no point in stripping because they still dish out pretty decent damage without their weapons (SBK’ers). Sonic Blowers may be easy at times, but usually hard. If they don’t have much dex, they will miss you. With your BB build or DS, you will easily have 200 flee. You can either try and kill them or strip them. For hybrid SinX’s, Good luck, no comment.
High Wizard Bowling bash them or DS them, hopefully kill them before they stone curse you or frost diver you. Good luck.
Sniper Most snipers will have hell loads of flee, making stalkers having a big disadvantage. If you are lucky, you will be able to Bowling bash them, if you are a DS type, no chance unless the sniper is epic fail. If the sniper is a Falcon Assaulter, hopefully you can strip them. You can try and using a status bow (silence/stun) and bowling bash/ds’ing them, hopefully surviving and status’ing them.
WhiteSmith Only hope for you is to use the shoot and hide technique. If you successfully get them frozen/statused, go in for the Full Strip immediately. If you aren’t able to strip them. They will terminate you quite hard.
Clown/Gypsy If you are a BB type, you will be able to hit around 2~4 bowling bashes whilst they cast their VA and waiting for the delay to cooldown. Hopefully you can survive 2 VA’s and kill them before they do. If you are a DS type, just stay far, equip your Marc/ED and DS them and hide etc.
Professor Damn tough, soul burn and you’re screwed unless you pot. Only chance is for you to BB / DS. Probably they will cast Fog, which will make it even more annoying. Good luck really >.>.
Stalker Finally, Vs’ing your own kind. I have experienced Stalker VS Stalker pvp’s. They will either try and strip you, ds you or bowling bash you. If they attempt to strip you, you go in for the damage. If you have been stripped, you go for the strip, if both of you have been stripped, sit down and have a cup of tea. If the other stalker has higher flee then you, you are at a major disadvantage. Do not bother on the hide and hit technique.
3.0 Tips for Building a WoE Guild
Here are some tips for what each class should be doing in WoE, and how many of each class you should have in your guild.
------------ Lord knights ------------ Amount needed: More than 10, max 20.
Types: Spear lancer(any amount), AGI two hand(1 is enough), Dual(1 is enough), VIT tankers(5-8), Bersek emperium breakers(1-5), AGI ctrical(1 is enough)
Postion standing: At the front of the gate if you are defending at the gate and at the entrance of the emperium if you are defending at the room. AGI types stand beside the emperium, tankers can stand at the front. The emperium breakers can solo castles but when defending, you have to on your bersek while standing beside the emperium.
-------- Paladins -------- Amount needed: Max amount 15 is enough.
Types: Devotion(amount is needed when slotting your members into party, make sure each party has at least one devotion paladin), Sheld(5-8), Tankers(5-8), AGI spear(1, also can break emperium)
Position standing: The devotion paladins must stand together with their party members at all times and on your sacrifice skill when enermy gets closer. Sheld types and tankers can stand at the front with the metee fighters. AGI spear types beside the emperium, you can go and break castles if you want but be very careful. Those who have gospel can on gospel near the emperium or with your party members, do not spawn gospel anywhere.
Note: Gospel: On gospel when you are striped or when you are near your party, for those AGI paladins who have gospel, spawn it whenever the emperium is heavily attacked.
------- Snipers ------- Amount needed: Max amount 10
Types: Any types, just not more than 10.
Postion standing: At the back of the metee fighters at the emperium room, whole defending at the gate, also stand at the back. Remember to spawn traps too, and on your detect whenever you see assasin cross hiding.
Note: Traps: Set traps at the back of the metee fighters incase any tankers or emperium breakers escape. Spawn alot of ankle snares follow by any traps you want, it is comfirmed that the traps do work.
------------- Clowns/Gyspys ------------- Extra note: when you need them, always keep a pair and always slot them into party.
Amount needed: Any amount as long as they are in a pair.
Types: Any types as long as they are in a pair.
Postion standing: Those with poem stand with the high wizards, those with arrows stand with the snipers, those with apple stand near the emperium while those with arrow vulcans with the snipers.
Note: Apple of idun: Use this skill when the emperium is under attack to heal the emperium together with sanctuary and gospel.
Loki's well: Use this combo skill only when there are enermies.
Scream and froze joker: Use this skills when there are enermies, you may even stun your own guild mates but at low chance. ------------ High wizards ------------ Amount needed: Not more than 10 as lonf as they can cast different area spells.
Types: Any types as long as have area spells(not more than 10)
Postion standing: Some at water pits if the castle has water pits at the emperium room. Those with no water pits can stand at anywhere as long as you can spawn spells at the entrance. Always on sight at all times, those with safty wall can cast around your party members and yourself.
Note: Spawning of spells: Don't care whatever stom gust, meteor stom, lord of vermilion or heaven drive, just spawn whatever you got. Heaven drive may be small but it can also be deadly. All four area spells muct combine so that the enermies will recieve different element status.
-------- Scholars -------- Amount needed: Not more than 5
Types: Element type with no deluge and land protect(1), Element type with duluge and land protect(as many as you want), Battle types(1 or optional), other types(any amount)
Postion standing: Near the high wizards or beside your party, spawn deluge whenever you can so that water can be used. Those with heaven drives must also help to spawn with the wizards, tunder stoms can also be used. Spawn land protect whenever there are enermy high wizards. In your sight at all times. Use froze driver, fire wall and spiderweb when danger rise.
Note: Froze driver: You ae the only one who can use froze driver as the high wizards are busy with their spawing jobs, use this skill whenever there are enermies who escape from the defense of the metee fighters.
Fire wall: A total of three fire walls can be cast, so just spawn it at the entrance or at the gate when there is no enermy or there is enermy, block them from coming in.
Spiderweb: Spawn this webs with the traps, it is best to trap the enermies who escape so that the snipers can handle them.
------------- Assasin cross ------------- Amount needed: Max amount 8
Types: Emperium breaker(any amount), Soul breakers(not more than 5), Others(any amount)
Postion standing: Near the emperium, spawn venon dust around the emperium. Soul breakers can stand at the front with the metee fighters and spawn venon dust to posion the enermies. Emperium breakers must cloak in enemy castles to get to the emperium.
Note to emperium breakers: It is best to go to any castle and memorize the structure and the maze so you will know your way around.
Note: Venom dust: Spawn venom dust at the entrance or at the emperium to poison the enemy emperium breakers.
-------- Stalkers -------- Amount needed: Not more than 5
Types: Stripers(max amount 5), AGI dagger(1), Bow(1-2)
Postion standing: Stripers stand at the front to strip the enermies equipments off, the bow types with the snipers and the AGI dagger at near the emperium.
Note: Copied skills: If you have copy a stom gust or any area skill, cast it whereever you are at the entrance.
Full strip: Use only full strip, you don't have the time for so many strips.
Sword reject: Don't use this skill, it is useless, since only for sword and dagger types, how many class are using it. It is not worth it. Those with sacrifice still can kill you.
Note to bow types: If you have full strip skill, use it whenever there are escaped enermies and take off their equipments, you may have to switch weapons.
------------ High priests ------------ Amount needed: Amount is decided when you slot your members into party.
Types: Turn undead and magnus(1 as long as they have surport skills and safty wall), VIT tankers(any amount), party surport(acording to party), Battle types(1 or optional)
Postion standing: Always stand at the emperium or near your party members, Those battle types can spawn magun break. Those turn undead and magnus types must stand near the emperium to spawn safty wall. Tankers can stand infront or near party members. On runwatch all the time.
Note to tankers: Always use a ghostring amour, use your asumption skill and AGI up with bless, use your kyrle skill also. You can survife asura with the above skill and equipment used.
Note: Safty wall: Those turn undead and magnus types should have this skill, this skil can be cast around the emperium to prevent from touching the emperium even one single damage.
Santuary: Use this skill whenever the emperium is undead attack, leave the emperium breakers to the champions so don't worry about the heal amount the breaker recieve.
Warp portal: Always use warp portals to go to castles, it is the most fastest way even when your castle is beside the city. Before the WOE starts, go to every castle and save the warp point but you can use teleport to return to save point
Asperio: When an emperium breaker attacks the emperium, use asperio to the breaker so that the weapon becomes holy and he cannot hit anymore.
--------- Champions --------- Note to champions: All champions must have the skill asura strike even for the AGI combo monk.
