You can make 30,000 + in 6 hours. This is how. You need 2 level 10 fighters, 1 bard (or a cleric and a wiz that knows haste). Now go to the Ruins of Threnal and go to the Southern Excavation one (Abandoned Excavation is the quest name). Once in buff the two fighters with haste an any other buffs at your disposal. Have them now run past everything to the end, there is a lot of holes where you jump down so you dont get TOO large of a train. They will have to kill about 7 or 8 things to open one door at the end. My group was doing this in about 2-3 min. Everyone else just stays at the entrance.

Now part two of the quest, same method this time you just run past everything. When you get to the bridge hit the switch and then shoot the other switch run across and you finish the quest. Again everyone else stays at the entrance.

Part three, you only have to kill about 5 giants.. buff up the fighters and have them hack the crap out of them. My group did this 47 times, each time under 5 min. The quest rewards are the best in the game at the moment. 1/5 times there would be a +2 holy weapon. Nice but more common things would be +5 mithril steel shield, +5 weapons (every time), +5 armor, ect.. +4 elemental items that type of thing. Enjoy

This is extreemely outdated. This quest is no longer the best loot in the game, and has not been for a long time. You can now make a better profit from farming chests in the Vale of Twilight, or any of the other high lvl explorer areas.

Still, the explorer areas can't touch the kind of loot you get from doing the quests in the reaver's refuge, and soon to come plane of shaverath

Easiest loot and best loot. Grab your cleric at lvl 11, and get blade barrier. Have the feats extend, maxmize, empower. At lvl 11 farm the orchard for cash/xp. When higher up farm the Vale lvl 12-15. lvl 16 and up farm shavarath. You will make tons of money that way.
