<raises hand and waves> OOOoooo OOOoo laugh.gif

Yeah, last time I played DND paper was when it was v. 2.5 and a little of 3.0
I DMed for 12 years and had boxes of maps and adventures and charts and over 300 minatures
what were made of deadly lead!! pfft.gif
NOW my 11 yr old is into online, I have yet to convince him of tabletop (it seems so manual...lol)
Closest thing I do for DnD now is freelancing the art for Indie publishers.

I have been playing 3.5 for a few years now and I play tabletop, Online d&d is way less interactive. I play with a group of about 4 or 5 sometimes more, and play every weekend 1 or 2 days, average playing like 8 hours a night. My character is level 24 barbarian, 10th blackguard, 10th assasin, 10th warlord, and 10th gladiator. My AC is 52 :D and I'm immune to crits, wanna battle? haha

I play d&d from many years ago, i don't intrested so much in having powerfull PCs, but i like much more the DMing, it's great to be a whole world in just one person.

Played since around 1979 and fell totally in love with 3.5 version. Think it will take an act of congress to upgrade to the latest. I don't play characters anymore. I love DMing too much. I'm a storyteller and that is the strength of my campaigns. My campaigns have the feel of Lord of the Rings or something, where much is at stake and the most dangerous thing you have to deal with on an ongoing basis are poeple. Online will never come close to comparing to tabletop because you can never program into the system those unexpected options players often take. And it totally kills the roleplayability between the npc's and players. If you want to roleplay online, you can only do it with other players, not with the environment.

I played tabletop for the first 10 years of D&D and AD&D... still have the box and origianl dice, with all the moduels.. I've of course kept up with all the books, figuring some day we won't have these wonderfull computers or internet, and I'll have to drop back to doing it the old fashioned way... of course it was the best way and I was always the DM...

I used my first computer Commodor 64 and 128, to make a program to roll the dice quickly and secretly. I even moved to makeing a program to handle the first TO HIT D20 chart... so this should tell you how long I've been playing.

YES... I WAS A GEEK!! I'm not a business owner and I hire those people who went to colledge for years and years... I still use my D&D DMing skills to handle situations and have people to think out their roll and situtiaions....
